Nicole Brown-Griffin joined our team in September 2023. Born and raised in Manhattan, NY, she enjoys meeting new people and helping them realize their financial goals. For over 12 years, Nicole provided financial counseling to the military community. She helped all branches of the military serving around the world and their dependents at Military OneSource. Most recently, Nicole provided financial education services to Sailors and their dependents at Norfolk Naval Base through the Fleet and Family Service Center. Aside from providing financial readiness guidance to service members transitioning to the civilian world, her fondest memory is being able to teach Sailors on a Submarine, twice!
Nicole has 18 years of tax preparation experience and is the Owner of a Tax Preparation business, Late Bloom Advising, LLC. Nicole is an Accredited Financial Counselor®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® and an Enrolled Agent. Empathetic by nature, Nicole sought to gain a divorce credential to help clients stay on track financially while going through one of the most challenging times of their lives. Nicole serves on the Board of Directors for The Planning Council. Nicole is a member of the Virginia Beach Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
Nicole lives in Norfolk with her husband, 2 children, mother and two dogs; Dakota and Reno. Nicole enjoys being around water, cooking, and home decorating.
