To support the continued growth of Wealth Avenue, Genevieve joined the Wealth Avenue Team in 2021 as one of the firm’s client service coordinators and has since moved into the position of Special Projects Manager. Genevieve is on board to help the partners actualize their goals and champion the business philosophy of guiding clients to enhance their financial well-being in an environment that is tailored to the unique needs of everyone they serve.
Genevieve graduated from Virginia Tech, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a concentration in Public Relations in 2007. As a native of Norfolk, Virginia, she is also an alumna of Old Dominion University, where she earned her Master of Arts in Humanities with a concentration in Communications. She went on to teach and coach for Norfolk Public Schools. An athlete at heart, she chose to leave the classroom in 2018, when she was hired as the Head Softball Coach at Bryant & Stratton College in Virginia Beach. In the Fall of 2022, she accepted a position as the assistant softball coach at Norfolk State University.
Thorough and intuitive, Genevieve’s expertise assists the firm and their clients by managing projects outside the normal scope of Wealth Avenue every day operations. As Special Projects Manager, Genevieve is focused on helping the WA Team with their short-term needs and long-term goals and is committed to working with the Wealth Avenue Family with integrity and respect.
