Phil began his professional financial services career in 2006 with Ameriprise Financial. In 2010, he co-founded Maliniak & Nabong Wealth Advisory Services, operating under the brand Wealth Avenue^™️, and has been a Registered Representative with United Planners’ Financial Services of America since 2016.

He earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance with a minor in Global Business from Virginia Tech in 2006. Phil also holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®️) designation, earned in 2008, which equips him to assist clients with pre- and post-retirement planning needs.

A native of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Phil is the son of a retired naval officer. He and his wife, Vanna, have two children: a daughter, Riva, and a son, Donovan.

Outside of his professional life, Phil is committed to giving back to the community. He serves as a member of The Noblemen, an organization dedicated to helping local children, and is actively involved in his church. A passionate soccer player, Phil is the Vice President of Operations for the North American Sand Soccer Championship, an annual charitable event that hosts the largest sand soccer tournament in the world. Additionally, he is a board member for both the Hampton Roads Soccer Council and the Over Thirty Soccer League (OTSL).
