A Day to Remember: Highlights from the Wealth Avenue Invitational

This past Wednesday, 140 clients, family, and friends of Wealth Avenue gathered at Virginia Beach National for the inaugural Wealth Avenue Invitational — our first-ever client appreciation golf tournament. What began as an overcast, windy morning transformed into a beautiful day filled with sunshine, warmth, and genuine camaraderie.

Tournament Highlights

Thirty-five teams competed with high energy from the first tee shot to the final putt, with the tournament scored across three post-flighted divisions to keep the competition close and exciting.

  • Tony Mauro, Danny Manns, Josh Hawkins, and Jeff Hawkins — 12-under-par 60

Our $10,000 Hole-in-One Challenge took place on Hole #7, where Mike Jordana came within three inches of the cup. Each participant above won a $25 Golf Galaxy gift card!

Longest Drive:
  • Women’s Division: Sheran Hunt
  • Men’s Division: Lud Presto

Sheran Hunt’s booming drive earned her a relaxing spa package, while Lud Presto’s impressive fairway blast scored him two tickets to a professional sporting event.

Putting Contest:

Before the round began, players took part in our putting contest, two putts from 30 feet to qualify, and ten finalists holed the putt to advance to a 100-foot “closest-to- the-pin” finale.

Ben Lynch hit his putt within a foot to take home the vacation package grand prize!

Special Thanks

A heartfelt thank-you to Perfect Golf Event for their prize support, and to our valued investment partners — Alger, Athene, and Horizon Investments — for helping make this day possible.

We also want to recognize Glen Pierce and his team at Virginia Beach National for their exceptional hospitality and pristine course conditions.
